Rules change. This is what Sky Bet's own terms said when we checked them on 16 Oct 2026. Always read the full terms before you bet. 18+ only.

Limits

Up to 10 selections in one BuildABet.
Up to 20 selections per betslip, so you can combine several BuildABets.
A BuildABet can be one leg of a larger multiple.

If a selection is void

The BuildABet is not void. The void selection is removed and the bet settles on the remaining selections, at their odds. Sky Bet's example: a 4-selection BuildABet with 1 void settles on the other 3.

If your player doesn't start

Player bets are only void if the player takes no part. A player who comes on as a substitute counts as playing, so the selection stands. Source: Sky Bet's player not starting help page, checked 17 Oct 2026.

Extra time

BuildABets settle on 90 minutes. Extra time and penalties don't count, except for selections containing To Qualify, Lift The Trophy or Win The Tie.

Cash out

All BuildABets are eligible for Cash Out, under Sky Bet's standard cash out rules.

Sky Bet bet builder, explained

What are Sky Bet's BuildABet rules?

What is bet builder?

A bet builder combines several selections from the same match into one bet. Every bookmaker here offers one, but the limits and void rules differ. The most important difference is what happens when one selection is void, for example a player who does not start. Some bookmakers void the whole bet, others recalculate at the remaining odds.

What happens if a player in my bet builder does not play?

It depends on the bookmaker. Some void the bet, some remove the leg and recalculate. Expand a row to read the exact rule.
