How does bet365 Sub On Play On work?

Short answer

If your player is substituted, your bet moves to the player who replaces them, at the same odds. bet365's Sub On Play On applies to pre-match singles, multiples and Bet Builders on selected football player markets marked with the Sub On Play On icon. How it works

Place a pre-match single or multiple on a player market showing the Sub On Play On icon. Bet Builders qualify too.
If your player is substituted, the bet rolls over to the player who replaces them, with no change to the odds. Your bet slip updates to show the new player.
What your first player already did still counts. bet365's example: you back Player A to score 2 or more, Player A scores once and is replaced by Player B, who scores once. The bet wins.
If several players come on at once, the order they enter the pitch decides who replaces whom, using data from Podium (formerly the Press Association).
If the substitute is substituted, the bet continues with the next player who comes on.
bet365 aims to settle winning bets within 15 minutes of the selection winning.

Which markets qualify

Only selected pre-match player markets where the icon is shown. bet365's promotion terms list these football markets:

First, Last, Anytime and Next Goalscorer
To Score 2 or More, Hat-trick, Header and To Score from Outside the Box
1st Player Booked, Player to be Booked and Player to be Sent Off
Assists, and To Score or Assist
Shots on Target and Shots
Tackles, Fouls Committed and Goalkeeper Saves

Extra time

For qualifying football matches, Sub On Play On includes extra time. The bet is settled on the full match, including stoppage time and extra time. Penalty shootouts are not included, and bet365 labels player markets that include extra time.

When it doesn't apply

If the outcome of your bet was already decided before your player was substituted. The bet settles under bet365's normal sports rules.
If you cashed out before your player was substituted.
On friendlies and exhibition matches.
An acca that only wins because of Sub On Play On doesn't get an Acca Boost.
bet365 says the offer is only available to new and eligible customers.

The terms cover substitutions. They don't say what happens if your player is sent off, so we don't assume the bet moves to another player in that case.
