The other 8 bookmakers we cover don't mention own goals in their both teams to score rules. Why most bookmakers don't spell it out
Most bookmakers' rules describe both teams to score in one or two lines and say nothing about own goals. Only Ladbrokes and Coral, whose football rules use the same wording, add that own goals count in this market. If your bet depends on it, read the market rule at your bookmaker or ask its support team before you bet.
Own goals in goalscorer bets are different
Own goals don't count for first, last or anytime goalscorer bets at any of the 10 bookmakers we cover. That is a rule about the player market, not about the score. Several bookmakers make the difference explicit in their scorecast rules: the goalscorer part ignores the own goal, while the correct score part still counts it.
Extra time and both teams to score
In a cup match that goes to extra time, a goal scored in extra time doesn't count for a both teams to score bet at the 8 bookmakers we could confirm. Their rules settle the market on 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or regular play, which comes to the same thing. 888sport also names penalty shootouts as excluded.
