Does extra time count in a bet builder?
Short answer
Usually not. A bet builder leg settles on 90 minutes plus stoppage time unless that leg's market includes extra time. Sky Bet and Betfred say this for bet builders in their rules, and Sky Bet names the exceptions: To Qualify, Lift The Trophy and Win The Tie. Unibet settles each part of a Bet Builder under that market's own rule, and some Unibet player markets, such as Player Goals, include extra time. The other bookmakers' terms we read don't mention extra time for bet builders (checked 18 Oct 2026).

What this means for a cup tie
Say your bet builder has a team to win, both teams to score and a player to score, and the match is 1-1 after 90 minutes before a winner in extra time. At every bookmaker whose rule we could confirm, the team to win leg settles on the 1-1 score, so it loses, and a goal in extra time doesn't help your player leg unless that market includes extra time. A to qualify leg is different: it settles on who goes through.
Player markets are where bookmakers differ
bet365's goalscorer markets include extra time if it is played, and Unibet's Player Goals, Assists, Shots and Player to be Carded markets include extra time unless stated. Sky Bet's goalscorer bets are 90 minutes only. If you add a player leg to a bet builder for a cup tie, read that market's rule at your bookmaker.
