Champions League betting rules: extra time and two-legged ties

Short answer

Champions League bets settle on 90 minutes plus stoppage time at the bookmakers whose rule we could confirm, in the league phase and the knockouts. In a two-legged tie, a bet on the second leg is about that match only. To qualify markets cover the whole tie, including extra time and penalties.

Champions League betting rules, explained

Does extra time count in Champions League bets?
Not for standard bets. They settle on 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties count on to qualify and to lift the trophy markets.
How is a second leg settled if a team goes through on aggregate?
The match result is settled on the second leg alone. If that match is level after 90 minutes, a draw bet wins, whatever the aggregate score.
Is there still an away goals rule?
No. UEFA scrapped the away goals rule from the 2021-22 season. Level ties go to extra time and then penalties.
