FA Cup betting rules: does extra time count?

Short answer

Usually not. At the bookmakers whose general rule we could confirm, FA Cup bets settle on 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties only count on markets that say so, such as to qualify or to lift the trophy. Since replays were scrapped from the first round proper, every level tie goes to extra time and penalties on the day.

FA Cup betting rules, explained

Does extra time count in FA Cup bets?
Not for standard bets. Match result and most other markets settle on 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties count only on markets such as to qualify or to lift the trophy.
Are there still FA Cup replays?
Not from the first round proper. Replays were scrapped from the 2024-25 season, so a level tie goes to extra time and penalties on the day.
If my team wins on penalties, does my match result bet win?
No. The match result is the score after 90 minutes, which was a draw. A to qualify bet would win.
